Yes. Your Tick Data Suite for MT4 subscription is not affected in any way, so you can run both during the beta.
We’re aiming for October 2026 or before. Newsletter subscribers get access first, and we’ll email as soon as it opens.
Yes, the beta is free. The beta license covers Tick Data Suite for MT5 for the duration of the beta. If you have an active Tick Data Suite for MT4 subscription it is unaffected and continues alongside.
We ask that you complete a short feedback form during the beta. The point of the programme is to find out how Tick Data Suite for MT5 behaves on real setups and real strategies, so your feedback is what the free license is in exchange for.
The beta license expires when the beta programme closes. Tick Data Suite for MT5 is a separate subscription from Tick Data Suite for MT4.
Your existing subscription covers Tick Data Suite for MT4 only. To use tick data with MetaTrader 5 you will need a Tick Data Suite for MT5 subscription, or you can export the data manually and import it into MetaTrader 5 – see How to backtest in MT5 with 100% history quality. During the beta the beta license covers Tick Data Suite for MT5, so this does not apply.
Yes. After Tick Data Suite for MT5 launches you can switch your Tick Data Suite for MT4 subscription across for free. The switch is permanent and covers Tick Data Suite for MT5 only, so to keep using Tick Data Suite for MT4 as well you would need both subscriptions.
Yes. Tick Data Suite for MT4 continues as it is, with ongoing development and support.
