Portfolio Backtester

As its name implies, the Portfolio Backtester provides assistance with evaluating an EA portfolio. It lets the user run backtests of multiple strategies on various symbols and timeframes, scheduling the tests and running them in an automated hands-off fashion, starting and stopping MT4 as necessary. Ultimately it produces results that can be opened with spreadsheet applications such as Excel and analyzed based on various criteria.
Naturally, the Portfolio Backtester works with the Tick Data Suite and it’s also worth mentioning that it integrates with the QuantAnalyzer.

Portfolio Architect

A specialized software for analyzing and optimizing an EA portfolio. You can drag and drop multiple backtest results from a variety of platforms (including MT4 and MT5), view the combined balance, equity and drawdown chart and inspect a host of metrics such as the sharpe and sortino ratio. This makes it very easy to see how adding or removing a particular strategy affects the portfolio performance. It also permits a very flexible configuration of a trading portfolio, optimizing it based on the impact of each strategy.
Further analysis can be performed on the portfolio as a whole or on each strategy independently such as profitability on a time unit (for instance hour or day), compounding and so forth. The Portfolio Architect allows gaining some useful insights that can later be applied to maximize the returns.
