You asked, we listened!

Starting with the 1st of September 2022, Tick Data Suite will change from the current mixed pricing model (initial fee followed by a subscription) to 100% software as a service. That’s right, you will no longer have to pay the initial fee if you only plan to use the Tick Data Suite for a month or two. Best of all, our yearly and lifetime prices will stay the same!

 

Pricing will be as follows:

      • Tick Data Suite pay per month – just 29.9 EUR!

      • Tick Data Suite pay per year – 174 EUR – includes over 50% discount compared to pay per month!

      • Tick Data Suite lifetime – 449 EUR

 

But that’s not all: we’ve also added some new features. All the subscription-exclusive data will be hosted on a SSD-based content delivery network (CDN); this will translate in a massive download speed increase, especially for our Asia and South Pacific customers which were previously downloading data from our servers in Europe. Users will also be able to import tick data via command line as well as export bar data via command line in addition to exporting raw tick data. Plus, in the very near future we’ll be adding multiple new tick data sources as well as charting.

 

What does the new pricing model mean for you?

If you’re an existing Tick Data Suite customer with an active subscription, there will be no change and no added costs. You will continue to pay the same amount per month or per year and have access to all the extra benefits that are included in your legacy subscription.

If you’re an existing customer with an expired subscription you will no longer be able to purchase update plans after the 1st of September, 2022. You will still be able to use the Tick Data Suite if you do not update your MT4 but you will not be able to update to a new version, have access to new tick data sources, to our CDN or to technical support. To thank you for being our customer, we’ll offer a one-time discount if you’d like to migrate to the new subscription model, so that the initial license fee you paid is fully compensated. This offer will be valid for two years after we transition to the new model – until the 1st of September 2024.  If you are in this situation, please contact support for more information.

Regardless of license type and status, we will no longer offer license upgrades for legacy licenses after the 1st of September. Users that would like to upgrade will have to switch to our SaaS model.

Seeing that the Tick Data Suite will only be offered using the software as a service model, users who purchase after the change will be able to use the software for as long as their subscription is active. Once the subscription expires, users will no longer be able to download data and the tick data controls in MT4 will no longer be available.
